Background
The job consisted of two tower blocks with poorly installed and maintained access control and intercom systems. All systems had failed so a full upgrade was necessary.

Challenge
The previous system was a Paxon standalone access control and Videx intercom however, they were in a poor condition. We carried out works with no disruption to residents by ensuring clear walkways and areas of working across the buildings.

Solution
The solution included online cloud based KMS access control system, two main front door and one rear door. The door entry system was Videx audio with two entry panels and 52 flats across both blocks.

We installed 52 Videx hand sets alongside 2 Videx digital intercom panels and 3 KMS readers with exit buttons.

From start to finish, this installation took 4 days to complete.
